• A desert plant with strong antiulcerogenic, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antifungal, antirheumatic, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-neurodegenerative activity.
• It has a high content of active substances: phenols, flavonoids, phenylpropanoids, vitamins, glucosinolates, fibers, soluble sugars, fats and carotenoids, among which ten derivatives have been newly discovered: α-amyrin, β-sitosterol, tetracosanoic acid, 4- hydroxy-5-n-butoxy-5-oxopentanoic acid, scopoletin, umbelliferone, Esculetin, Kaempferol, Quercetin and Quercetin-3-O-rutninoside.
